《摩登家庭》是由二十世纪福克斯电影公司拍摄，美国广播公司购买并在美国播出的电视剧。故事主要围绕三个有关联的美国家庭展开，一个“看不见”的摄像师扛着摄像机记录他们生活中的点点滴滴。这部情景喜剧采用了与“伪记录片”的拍摄形式，大多数镜头都是手持摄像机拍摄的。故事以独特的视角，讲述了极具代表的三个典型的美国家庭复杂而混乱的日常生活和情感世界。
